Are e-cigarettes bad for you?
E-cigarettes are becoming more popular and widely desired by people all around the world. To understand the purpose and the reasons for the great desirability of the products, we first need to understand wthat exactly they are, and how they work. The e-cigarette is an electronic device, which stimulates the act of smoking tobacco by producing an inhaled mist, similar to the sensation, appearance, flavour and nicotine of real cigarettes’ smoke. They come in many different sizes due to the size of batteries and can often be reused or used as disposable ones. Many of them are designed to look like real cigarettes and often come with replaceable and refillable parts, if not using disposable e-cigarettes.
So this is where the name comes from, an electronic cigarette – ‘the e-cigarette’. But where can you get them?
There are many places where you can get them on internet as well as in street shops. The e-cigarette UK based company, TECC, provides a whole range of ‘electronic cigarettes’ products. The e-cigarette UK company is a licensed company and they provide their products online. ‘ The e-cigarette ‘ is also becoming increasingly more popular in stores like Tesco or Boots.
So, now that we all know what e-cigarettes are, we can finally answer a commonly asked question; Are e-cigarettes bad for you?
Real cigarettes can cause lung damage, cancer, skin problems, decrease in fertility and many more other problems! E-cigarettes, however, are an alternative to real cigarettes, which means, you can ‘smoke’ without or with greatly reduced effects on health. The other great benefit of those is, saving money!
There are still many researches and disagreemenets to whether the product IS reducing health risks or not, but most believe it can be a great alternative and can help to stop smoking.
In my opinion, e-cigarettes are great if you want to save money AND try an alternative way of smoking without or with greatly reduced health risks! We must remember that they do contain nicotine though and should be kept away from children and have an age restriction! Overall, I see a great product which, in my opinion, is a GREAT alternative to real cigarettes and, hopefully, will be even more popular in the future!
